Despite the rebound of the virus the French car market has recorded a good sales figure of over 168,000 cars in September, down only 3.5% on last year. Overall the French market for the year to date is 29% down on last year.
PSA is down 4.3% in September. Peugeot was up 6.7% but Citroen was down by 10%, DS by 25% and Opel by 32%.
The Renault group was down by 5.8%. Renault were down 16% but Dacia were up 35%.
Of the cars registered in September 49% were petrol, 31% diesel, 13% hybrid and 6% battery electric.
