Liquid Amber might be the colour you are referring to. I had a 1976 504 in this colour. i just dug out some old photos from my first 504 from the early nineties that was this colour. Wish i'd never sold it! I actually traded it on a silver 1985 SRDT 505 at Maxim Motors that was operating in Brisbane during those times.....wish I'd never sold the 505 (rego 101-PFI) too!!!

I wonder if any of these cars are still in existage...stored in a shed...or been scrapped.

I have a '74 Liquid Amber that is not too far from getting back on the road.
The paint I got matched is slightly darker (not on the car yet).
The paint colour on the plate actually says burnt leaf(?) but it's definitely not that colour. Possibly the plate was incorrectly installed during assembly?

Burnt leaf is brown I think. Could have had a plate swap too.

Mine's a lowly GL, unfortunately. I can't say I've seen another Trak Yellow 504 up here at all...

I always describe the colour as 'Mango Yellow' to people as it's got a slightly orange tinge... I've never understood people comparing in to poo, to be honest. "Dry Leaf" on the other hand...

Hey Tom, there is an Aztec yellow 504 for sale in the Peugeot club of Qld Classified. I know the owner. It was his mums car that was purchased back in 1981!
