Facel Vega HK500 - Bordeaux

On a recent trip to Bordeaux, France, staying in a chateau for a few nights the owner is an avid collector of older cars, which included a Facel Vega HK500, Maserati, and various Mercs and Jags.
I understand the FV HK500 was imported from Ontario Canada. Sadly is just being left under an outside carport with the windows open and spider webs growing everywhere inside
I though some might be interested in this find As I also believe only some 480 cars were ever made before production ended in 1961.

Windscreen installer I used when in my workshop days did a lot of prestige cars and I remember him saying a customer asked for new screen for his facel Vega,he looked at it for a while then realising they used chevy engine etc.,got a 57 chevy screen and wella, fitted like a glove.one very satisfied and informed customer..
