Hello All those involved in repairs; regards to Electronics.

Yes, the magical Woolen mystery machines linked by threads.

Namely the desevious OBD codes and the collelation between (so called) irrelevant solutions.

This is regards to the Non Start issue i(n Winter) of a car. Peugeot 407 HDi 2.0 / turbo and DPF.

No fix yet, not much else to replace / check.

** I found a site describing an OIL LOW message on Display; cause seemed to be the DPF.
Yes; magical; though not in electronics terms. Seems the fuel differential pressure monitor was giving the injectors a headache after starting cold.

A blocked DPF is very hard to diagnose; though simple to inspect and clean.
Since starting a Thread on my starting Error, it seems all I have gotten was a regular, run of the mill;

OBD codes, battery, alternator, injectors.
I know these a some important starting steps; though

I would expect that Forum moderators and people who can read a Thread from the beginning , would save alot of people time, to be polite, so that maybee, a form of experienced response would come into a Line on a Thread.

Anyhows,, stop bagging French cars, and find a suitable correlation.

Do not just rely on OBD codes when you have gone through that path.

RE: top few lines ..

Yes, hard to diagnose ,; regarding this issue.

I am/was expecting, "No, DPF is easy to check ,., duh"

not now that I have mentioned this. BOM
