Looking for a Bosch distributor to suit an R16 Cross Flow engine? Thx John.

These are easy to replace, knock out old bushes and knock new bushes in after soaking them in some engine oil.Main problem will be bushes. It causes the shaft to run eccentrically so giving variable timing between cylinders
Also have seen the mechanical advance weight bushes wear.Main problem will be bushes. It causes the shaft to run eccentrically so giving variable timing between cylinders
Main problem is a worn out shaft with the square-ish sectors worn unevenly. Try to adjust the gap and dwell on that. Can be made too but it's not easy. Little wonder Hall effect sensors have become so popular.Main problem will be bushes. It causes the shaft to run eccentrically so giving variable timing between cylinders
Bush wear is extremely easy to diagnose using a dwell meter.Main problem will be bushes. It causes the shaft to run eccentrically so giving variable timing between cylinders
I'm only looking for a spare to have on hand.John:
