I am interested in acquiring a Citroen GS or GSA, if someone was wanting to reduce their collection or to dispose of one.
I have become aware of the various clever designs that were incorporated into the GS and GSA vehicles, including the hydro-pneumatic suspension and the boxer air cooled engine and other aspects which I find interesting. My intention would be to just keep the vehicle in a drivable condition and enjoy it as it was, and would likely place it on club registration. It would be securely garaged in a locked shed.
I am not in a hurry and if a vehicle became available I would be interested in at least an initial discussion with the owner.
While I have the training and ability to perform repairs, and might have been interested in getting a non-running vehicle going again, I suspect that obtaining uncommon parts and passing a roadworthiness certificate may be difficult. So I am likely more interested in a current registered and roadworthy vehicle.
