What about a supercharged V6 (found overseas in 406 Coupes) put in the back of a 205 direct drive on to the rear wheels.

That new Alfa 146 GTA is the quickest hatch to be imported into Australia and will be priced like it is too. Imagine a turbo version of one of those...

Supercharged V6 in 406 Coupe? First I have heard of that.

I wish they had a turbo diesel version of the GTi6 and then imported it into Aus.

I'd read about it, but someone was saying it wasn't coming now :( ... the R32 Golf is a cracker as well.

As for cars I wish they'd make .. Peugeot RC Diamonds and Spades ... mmmm . mmmm.

There is a turbo diesel 306, no?
Yep, it's called the DTurbo and came normally equipped like an XR or DTurbo S, which had the features of an XSi. There's also the newer turbo diesel engine HDi. Newer engine and features of the XSi. Winding up the fuel/air mix, adding a bigger turbo and intercooler, people in the UK have been getting some big gains.

I know that Ecosse have popped the 406 V6 motors into 405's and recently did a 306 as well - god knows how they crammed it in!

I'd be quite happy if they just made some more 205 T16's or a 206 WRC 4x4 at a price I could afford :)

Cheers
Steve

I wish...that when Renault made the Renault 21 turbo in 87, some bright bloke at Renault hadve thought to stick the 2litre turbo donk in the last Fuego's to roll off the line.

130kw in a 1050kg shell...stock tongue

I'll have to do it myself... cry spanner evil head_ban

Clio V6 like this one:

yes definitely a winner! .... i want one

this is a great topic...so here are a few suggestions from me:
Since i can not afford any of the modern exotics i d like to refer to some of the late 70s 80s cars that could have been made (which i might be able to afford in 2003....)

lancia BETA: supercharged but rear wheel drive/ or maybe 4x4...
205mi16.....rather obvious...
fiat 130 coupe...........big V8....yummm
A9X torana 4x4....yeahh i know, strange but would have been nice....
golf turbo4 with 4x4...
merc 280 ce but with a 6.9 instead...holly crap that would be fast considering the 280se 6.3 was
a 6 second car (and that was back in the late sixties/early seventies)
bmw 6series.....but blown and 4x4.....

ok...thats it....before i put myself in a straight jacket...and a padded cell.....

cheers

How about a 504 coupe with a Rover 4.7 injected motor and Dangel 4X4 conversion. I wonder if you'd get noticed?
