Hi All,
I have a 308 HDi for sale. I bought it from the auctions a few months ago for the ShitBox Rally. The Rally entry requires you to have a car on the road for less than $1500. This car has $1750 in it so far and needs more work. So it is not suited for what I want.
If it doesn't sell then I'll bite the bullet and continue working on it.
The good:
The Bad
It's done 232,418 kms. Is unreg (just out) and un roadworthy. Starts and goes. I drove it from Dandenong to Gisborne no dramas at all. I've been honest in the ad. I reckon it'd make a great project for someone but its not suited for me (I've bought another one
)

The good:
- Runs and drives nicely
- I've had a new windscreen fitted (hasn't even been driven)
- Timing Belt, Drive belt and Water pump changed at 199,000kms (proof available)
- It's been steam cleaned and detailed inside
- Headlights have been restored
- Towbar
- Tyres seem good
- 6 Speed Manual
- Cruise control
- Aftermarket stereo
The Bad
- I reckon it will need a clutch in the next 20,000 ks or so. I'm no mechanic but it takes up at the top of the pedal
- It's got a decent dent in the boot. Scuff marks on bumper bars and wheels. Generally looks a bit tatty
- There's an oil leak from somewhere
- Tear in drivers seat bolster
- Towbar removed (It's in one of the photos but gone now)
