is it possible to fit the 4spd auto from a 505 wagon into a 604 ?

does anybosy know the difference in length between the 4 spd auto and the 3 spd 604 auto boxes ?
and also is the extension housing interchangeable so you can bolt the torque tube on to the 4spd box ?

i have a feeling the wagons did but did any of the sedans have them ?
i know the sedans in the US had them but i don't really feel like trying to get one from there
