We've had many a long winded discussion regarding the pros & cons of leaded/unleaded fuel and a thousand theories regarding it.
Here's an article from a guy in UK, David Baker from Puma racing who I am a great fan of.
He is a brilliant engineer from all accounts, calls a spade a spade & produces some brilliant work.
Here's a link to his website where he debunks a lot of theories and explains in laymans terms the ins & outs of the unleaded mystery.
It is almost essential to ad the warning that if easily offended don't read. Or as David would probably say; if easily offended stiff $#!+

See if that link works - I boo booed on the other

Hi Alan,

David regularly gives advice to members of the Peugeot Sport Club over here. To paraphrase what you said, he know's his sh1t & isn't afraid to say so.

He has also written articles for our magazine "Torque". Check out his article about engien conversions too!

For an interesting article on the lead saga, see:

Jamie Kitman is a freelancer that works for CAR, amongst others. Interestingly, he is also the manager for the Violent Femmes, I believe.
