6 Pin electric throttle positioner

I need to know what colour wire goes where.
There are 6 wirers Orange - Green - White - Red - Brown - Grey
Can you help?

What car? Is it on the accelerator pedal or on the throttle?

Im def not an electrical expert, just so you know

the wiring in 205's and 306, 405 etc is numbered.
its the numbers that matter, not the colours of the wires which can be different on diff cars
the numbers are located just above each plug, about in the last 60mm of each end of the wire

others with your model may be able to assist, what model and year is it and pics help also

Car 2004 407 V6 3.0l petrol.
Unfortunately the original plug had been cut of and another one spliced in.
I will unravel the wiring until I can access the number of each wire, might take a while till I get back to youall.

Have now been able to access the wiring on the 6 Pin accelerator plug they are 1109 Red/Orange - 1220 Yellow - Green 1219 - Grey 337 - Brown (unable to read number) - 2009 White.
I beleive that one of the wires was broken, so replaced them all and that worked, I now am able to increase the revs as normal.

I have completly rewired (and new 6 pin plug) and that worked engine reving as normal.
