I am interested in getting hold of a 505, specifically, the turbo diesel (GDT?) or a 1985 SRI. I'm only interested in manual transmission.
 
There never was a 505 SRi. Do you mean the STi? IF that is the case, why not a GTi? The STi has a 2.2L petrol engine with mechanical fuel injection, the GTi has the same engine with electronic fuel injection.

Do you mean a 1985 SR or do you mean a 1986 SLI? the SR has the XNA2/XN1 carby engine. The SLI has the XN6 mechanically injected engine with a piggy backed electronic lambda feedback. The SLI was introduced when unleaded fuel waas introduced in January 1986, although some SLI's may have a 1985 build date.

O.K., I'll claim it was a typo, but I did have SRI in my head for some reason. In fact a good GR would be fine as we have a straight one but interior is needing work.

RE 505 sti. I have a sound mechanical, but rough exterior 1985 505 sti in sydney for sale. (cheap)
