Simple question.

How tight do you make the top nut on the verticle links?

Its a nylon one, so I guess it isn't going anywhere, but how much do I want to squash the rubbers on either side of the sway bar.

Until the metal rod in the centre of the rubbers is tightened on to?.

Also should I put washers on either side of the bottom part of the verticle link? The old ones has become warped outwards. A washer would stop this but would this create less play in the suspension?

thanks

James

Yes, that's an acceptable way of doing it.

It's also OK to put on the extra washers you suggested. I've tried it. It doesn't hurt, but it doesn't seem to offer much advantage either.

Thanks dave,

The reason for the washers was the old rubbers had been effectively forced out.

Granted they were probably the originals. If the new ones last half as long I will be laughing:)

thanks
