407 rear suspension creaks/squeaks ...

Hi All,

has anyone been down this road before. I've just been under the back of the car and there is no obvious worn out components (I'll check with a pry bar tonight). Either I'm going crazy or the rear anti rollbar bushes both sides creak like crazy (even though they appear to be perfectly fine and tight.

its an odd looking bush. by the looks of it I need to remove the entire mounting assembly from the rear of the car.

Put some brake fluid into a syringe and squirt it into where the bushes rotate on suspension parts.

causes the rubber to swell??

it looks like they have a bearing type surface in the ebay adverts. I bet these ones are worn!

Shouldn't do that why the use of brake fluid, if you used a mineral oil such as motor oil it would swell the bushes.
