405 K Warning light and poor idle

I have an 89 405
Recently it has developed the following symptoms.
- Red "K" warning light comes on @ idle
- Often stalls @ idle
- Idles rough, when it doesn't stall
- otherwise pulls hard, runs well

Any Ideas ?? - is it just the the O2 sensor ?

Had exactly the same problem earlier this year with my 92 405.
Turned out that the seals around the ECU had deteriorated and water got in, causing all kinds of mayhem. Replaced ECU (not cheap!), runs okay now.

Hi Guys,

All OK now.

I Suspect it was just a dirty connection or air leak. I pulled off Air cleaner, ecu throttle body ...etc. etc. cleaned EVERYTHING Put it all back together, made sure all electrical connections secure - now she's sweet dance

i had that problem were i lost power k light and all that... i cleaned all my connections and it hasn;t come back... so far so good...
