405 Driver's Footrest Wanted

Hello Aussie Froggers!

I have heard that a driver's side foot rest was available for RH Drive 405's, but I have never seen one.

Does anybody know if this was true - if so, what did it look like and how was it mounted?

If the footrest does exist, does anybody know where I can get one?

One of the things that really bugged me about the 205 was it's lack of footrest......

I wasn't aware of the 405s having them either, maybe there's hope for both?

I've been thinking of knocking one up probably wooden or sheet alloy with a checker-plate top.

hi all ,i used to make up a footrest out of the early 504 acclerator pedal,the one that pivoted from the floor with two screws at the bottom.fix it on with a metal bracket and bingo instant rest.they used to be available new but that was years ago,wreckers would most likely give you one these days.hope it helps
