Did the Mitsubishi-derived 4008 have any Pug bits, engine, transmission, or was it a complete Mitsubishi?

Mitsubishi ASX is the most uncomfortable rental I've ever had.
Did a one way rental Cairns, outback Qld. & back to Gold Coast.
Couldn't wait to get out of it.

Cool story but we have never had one towed in and for a shopping work cart for the missus nothing else comes close I remember peugeot Sydney winging about the amount of warranty claims back in the 4007 days most cars had 2 or 3 parts claims in the first year where as the 4007 had like .1 and they tried to blame the mechanics james504 might remember this and the 4008 is miles better than the 4007.

I like the seating position of the ASX/4008. Its flat and high, I have a bad back and it was very comfortable for me. I dont particularly like mitsubishis but if I ever had to buy a peugeot again (never going to happen) for say my wife/family, it would be a 4008.

They were easy to work on, never had any real faults.

4007 thats a different story, god they were terrible. Still have nightmares about replacing dual clutches on them.
