Hi all,
Friend of mine has a 307 HDI 6sp auto.
He's been having issues with it - infrequently, it will refuse to start. Turning the key simply does nothing - starter turns over, but nothing after that. A reset of the battery seems to make everything OK again, but the fault keeps on reappearing.
No fault codes are appearing. We're thinking that it may be an key fault, or worse the ECU.
Drove it the other day and it it's still a fairly good car for 150k on the clock. Would be a shame for it to be sent to the wrecker if its uneconomical to repair!
Any hints or tips?
Cheers,
Joel.
