I'm going to replace the left hand door mirror. Looks like the internal fixings have been broken, and the mirror was held in by wood screws!
However, when I looked online for a replacement, I noticed that some were 5 pin, and some were 7 pin.
What is the difference? I couldn't actually see what they are referring to?
 
There are too many outside mirror differences on these cars to make sense. Some have more electrical features, like folding, I have never found why other differences exist.
 
Ok. Thanks. I know these are heated, and the temperature module is also in the mirror. Apart from the electric adjust, I didn't see any other features. I see my plug is orange. Maybe I'll use that as a guide. I'm going out on a limb here, and think that my mirror is 5 pin. Three for the motor, and two for the heater? But then there in the temp sensor! Sheesh.
