I was wondering what the opinion is on taking the 206 in for it's first service. It currently has 7,000km on the clock. The sticker on the windscreen says at 10,000km, I thought they had 20,000km intervals and the car on start up says service is due in 1,000km time eg. 8,000km? Which is right?

I got mine serviced at 10000. The 10000km service is a free* intermediate checkup, not an actual service. Normal Service Intervals are 20k with every 2nd one being a major service. ie 40k, 80k. Peugeot recommend a checkup every 10k but this can be done yourself. Asquith and Johnstone charged me 100 bucks to ckeck the oil

* = pay for everything deal

Oh yeah Peugeot also consider Australia to have a extreme climate. pfff nothing extreme about it

cheers!

Thanks Daniel. The car has counted down its electronic service interval from 10,000km's but much quicker than the odometer has gone up. Have I thrashed it just a little too hard perhaps? head_ban
