206 gti

Hello can anyone tell me if a 206 gti would be a good car to get ??
just lookingat a few and not sure between that or a 306

206 GTI are great cars.
Often neglected as so little goes wrong.
Very few issues.
Cheap to run .
Once timing belts done and minor oil leaks if they exist are repaired drive with confidence.
Very underaged car.
We have two with over 200,000 klms.

Hi, just seen your post! The 206 GTi is a fantastic car. I have had mine since 2011 never broken down! Thinking of selling to the right person who appreciates this car

I've been looking at these lately too. They seem good bang for your bucks and always loved the looks.

Is there anything to look out for when buying one in particular? I have heard reasonable reliable if serviced regularly. Bigger issues seem to be the drivers seat wear and the clear coat peeling rather than mechanical.

Oh and got to be Agean Blue for sure....
