206 Gti 180 - Timing Belt Interval?

Hey guys,

My 206 gti 180, has 199,000xx the last time the timing belt was done at 130,000xx. So its got roughly around 70,000xx on it.
Does it need changing or can i wait a few more ks?

Every 80,000km or 5years is the Peugeot structure. Diesels are 100,000. Personally I’d get it done. Then you know your right for another 80k or 5 years.

Okay great, Thankyou for the information.

Need to find a mechanic up here to get it done but I'm not sure who to trust or who to go to.
QLD Brisbane, Gold coast, Ipswich region.
 
Obviously get water pump and tensioners done also. Anywhere that’s European specialists. QLD isn’t my stomping ground but I’m sure someone will know someone.
 
try the independent Euro service agents, like Peugeotech on the Northside or French Car Care in East Brisbane
