I was thrilled to pick up the 205 from the repairer yesterday. The entire front end (firewall forward) had to be removed after a racing incident earlier in the year. The top view illustrates how bent it was. Compare the angle of the LH subframe to the gearbox/engine centreline. JohnT supplied the red wreck. After removing spot welds on both fronts, including rails under the floor, the entire red front was re-attached to the white car. It's a stunning job and amazing what a good body worker can achieve. I'll be so nervous to use it as a race car again. More pics to follow as it comes together.
