my much loved 205 Si has done 288,500 km, I've owned it
for 7 years, clocking up 92,500 in that time.
it's been well maintained and never abused.
the front struts and rear dampers were renewed at 242,692 (11/14),
and the timing belt etc done at 270,002 (10/16).
I've always run it on 98, justified by better performance and economy.
it's as willing and fun to drive as ever, if now using a bit of oil,
maybe 500ml per 1,000 km. the only mods are the pepperpots and
a new Gti-like exhaust system (including new cat) I had fitted soon
after buying the car.
it's registered till 7/10/18 but has no RWC. $900 firm.
