Ian Mountain was killed in it at Bathurst when he skidded on oil dropped by a Ferrari, when he was set to place well.
Some of thise post war Aussie specials were bloody quick and gave the factory Ferraris, Maseratis etc a bit of a fright

The car was owned by Ian Tait for many years. John Sheppard did some work on it recently, assisted by a PCCV member.
It's now owned by Dick Willis in coffs harbour, the colour is a match of the original found on a few chips left on the body.
