17TS and R12 Rear Beam Axles

Does anyone know if mounting brackets, calipers and discs can be shifted from a 17TS rear axle to a standard R12 axle (which normally comes with drums)?

I have a 17TS axle on board at the moment which has seen some serious rally action - still OK but thinking of swapping it for a much nicer R12 example.

Gurus please advise!

Yep, as long as it isn't a late (like mid '79 onwards which used the 18 rear axle)Virage one with the slightly wider track and different wheelbearings.
