If the Xsara is a mark 1 with the 16V 1.8L engine, then the engine should be the XU7JP4. The output figures according to Citroen Aust were (for the Xsara 5 door 1.8L).
Power : 84kW @ 5500rpm
Torque : 155 Nm @ 4250rpm
From memory I recall UK mags stating the power output to be 112 bhp.
