Broke a drive shaft at the track.
Trying to find a replacement
 
Possibly 9807160680 and I think you may have to find another GTI to get the same complete item as a used part. The joints could be shared by other models, so you may be able to find bits that way or a driveshaft specialist might be able to repair it.
 
I have found I can buy a pair from the UK for £60 each plus freight. That will be my best and fastest option at the moment after getting the new price and lead time.
 
Yes, probably close to $600 from Peugeot and if you have to wait for it to come from France it will come by boat. Just be sure the 60 GBP option is actually for your particular 308 version because the part number doesn't seem to be shared with any other Citroen or Peugeot models or 308 T9 with the less powerful engines.
 
Good result. Have you had the diff 'foghorn' noise turning at low speed? There was an oil additive (Sturaco?) and I think a different oil now. You probably drive yours harder than most, so maybe not an issue.
 
Had it occasionally in the blue one.
White one has a plate LSD so it doesn’t get it.
