My 52 model 203 was YJUL - early 1952 or late 1951. Have a look at A French Mystery for 1949 under Froggy Chat and Mrs Pilkingtons car from 1952 is VB.

Imported cars had a shield over the brake cylinder. My RHD South African car had this.thought these may interest - cleaned or restored?;View attachment 214075View attachment 214076View attachment 214077
Don’t know how he does it but Pete found one in Ballaarat
Looks like she's a pre 1158884. Holes for the 'Eyebrows' are visible which looks to make her a '50 model. If so, bumper overriders are correct. Visible bits that stand out as ring ins are the steering wheel, road wheels and the top bars on the grill. Another early girl resurfaces !!!.View attachment 214236View attachment 214237
thankfully a better look now, posted by a facebook person ... ( Pete noticed overriders aren't in the right place )
Yes on the top bars being the cast 'Aluvac' types, not sure when they went to the Inox top bars, maybe started off with the first of the 'A' types from Oct. '52.corrected, Pete said Different - not Wrong … with thanks: “… Les crosses de pare-chocs ne sont plus placees la verticals dans l’axe des phares mais encadrent la plaque mineralogique AV …”
uppermost grill embellishments would have been cast rather than inox, yes?
Interesting about the lack of tooling to produce taller diffs. Also, pic shows the Australian 58 model rear door trim style, with the French bumpers and in South Africa. So not just an Australian model had this trim.
