Digital camera

One thing I found made a big difference, was getting a fast SD card as the slower ones make picture taking (especially action shots like Motorsport a real pain).

The one I bought was a 256Mb and specs were between 5 and 10 times the standard. There are a couple of companies selling them on Oz-ebay.

I've noticed this as well.

Sandisk seem to be one of the fastest (I tried a few in the shop as the original 128mb Compact Flash card I bought was soooo slow it took what seemed like 5 minutes to delete a single photo. I took it back and they replaced it, but let me go through the different brands until I found one I was happy with.

That's what I call service wink Ted's Cameras in the Sydney CBD.

Any one know much about about those G5 Canon's.. i nearly got one but was stuck beetween the G5 or the 5700 coolpix.. not sure now. cheers Xq

I got my 256Mb SD card for $149 from Apus Computer & Communication in Kingsford - they have much cheaper cards but this one is 10Mb/s transfer rate.

Their eBay shop is at: <a href="http://www.stores.ebay.com.au/id=73777245&ssPageName=L2.htm" target="_blank">http://www.stores.ebay.com.au/id=73777245&ssPageName=L2.htm</a>

PS, I have no affiliation with them, just found their pricing and service to be good.

Cheers
