Default is there a fix for bent needles on a virage speedo and tacho?

Installing a Virage dash in an R12. Is there a standard fix for needles that have bent in the heat?

    Replacement seems the modern standard.
The best on budget fix I have seen is toothpicks painted orange with survey paint.

This ain't a standard fix, but you could try supergluing a piece of wire onto the underside of the needle, then bend into position.....just use rubber gloves for the supergluing, it's a buggr when you get it on yer fingers. I had to sandpaper some off once.

    Default Replacement Needles

    Hi All

The best way is to replace the needles. Adding weight will effect the balance and make the instrument inacurate. I have used the needles from R12 or R16 Jeager guages
