I just put a 306 diesel into a friend's 405 diesel and there were small differences in the linkages and gearbox mount but now they are all sorted and i was feeling relieved when i realised the exhaust seems to be a bit far over and the shifter seems to be hitting on the turbo! I had heard the 306 had a different turbo setup but after eyeballing it for 10 minutes decided it was the same. Has anyone got any advice before i pull the whole engine out again and put a different turbo on it?
