    Default 306 Question?

What are the symptoms of failed bushes in the front wishbones?
    Car has done only 84000km.

    Thanks

Front bushes are a pretty common thing on a 306, you will have a slight knocking sound coming from the front end which gets worse over bumps and the longer you leave it the worse the knocking gets.

You can get Grp A mounts from the UK or just get a set of new rubber bushes and press them in. A lot of dealers/workshops will just get new wishbones and replace them.

Common problem. My 306 is a 2001, which I've had since new, and I'm replacing them for the second time next week. First time was around the 90,000km mark, now on about 150k. The knocking sound above is exactly the sound.
Pugsy - Group A mounts, really? do you have a brand or something I can look for? That would be better, and just before I do them again.

Spook Motorsport do a solid rear mount and you can get harder rubber mounts:

    Default Brakes

We had a Xsara which is a 306 in diguise.
After 60Kkms the disks were warped and needed replacement. A common problem, I am led to believe.
