    Default Peugeot 205 Gti Driveshafts

Does anybody know if you can buy CV joints to rebuild series 3 driveshafts or is the only solution to get somebody to do rebuild them for you?

Some 405 shaft components will fit, worth trying.

405, BX, etc. are basically all the same, other than the length of the outer shaft. Some will have differences for ABS, but that doesn't matter on a 205. I think even some 306's have the same spline. They're easy enough to rebuild yourself if you don't mind getting very dirty.

    Default Driveshafts

So let me just get this clear. I can fit 306, 405 and cx driveshafts provided they are not abs type or is that just the cvs mounted to my existing 205 shafts? Does that include 405 mi16's? We are talking compatible with series 1 gearbox and series 3 hubs aren't we?

Anybody got any they want to part with?

The complete shafts for the 306 and 405 are too long. You can use parts of them (the gearbox input shaft i know of the 306 works as i'm using it) to make your shafts up.

I can double check the 1.6 gearbox input shaft (your series 1's ran the smaller driveshafts right?) vs the 1.9 as i have them under the house tomorrow if you like.
