Default New bushes in bell crank=205 gti

well i just put two new bushes in the bellcrank[L shaped gear linkage pivot bracket]and wow what a difference.
id replaced the linkages a while ago but still had trouble selecting gears at times, but after spending 4 dollars on 2 plastic bushes it feels like a new one.
i also adjusted the clutch cable as it was down to the floor and wow what a difference.
so just remeber you dont have to buy a new bellcrank for umpteen dollars from peugeot all you need is new bushes[providing thats the trouble]
i was having big trouble selecting reverse but not now.

This thread is useless without pictures

do you want me to wipe your bum too?????
didnt do the job myself and the mechanic is pedantic about oil on my camera ha ha ha.
    its a easy job.
locate the bellcrank at the front of the car .
trace back gear linkages if your unsure.
its a boomerang looking thingyma jigga
it has a guard over the retaining bolt that needs to be pried off.
undo the retaining bolt/washers and withdraw downwards.
    it will sit in place.
the plastic bushes go one on the top and one on the bottom and just slip in place.
the retaining bolt replaced and the bolt cover/guard replaced.
    easy peasy puddin and pie.
result =no play in the stick now.
as far as part number goes -wouldnt have a clue
go them from peugeot at 4 bucks for the 2 bushes.
    hope this helps

With all the bodybuilding I've been doing this year, I have trouble wiping my own bum now. So any offer of assistance would be much welcomed

Last time I emailed reagans about this part I didn't get a response other than "We'll get back to you". Who would you use?

ring reagans in hawthorn, ask for chris.
get back to them if brent answers the fone.
he is usless and always will tell you that the parts is not available.
mysteriosly chris will find it straight away.
tell him its the bell crank plastic bushes that bazz just got off you and he will know what your talkin about.
they cost about 4 bucks or so.
    hopE this helps.-BAZZ
