    Icon8 needed - mi16 starter

    hey all.

I find myself in the horrible position of needing to replace or rebuild my starter.

Does anyone here have a spare (even if you have a crap one that can be re-coed)? or any suggestions as to where to get one for a good price?

if i can have one on hand then i'll attempt the swap myself. If i have to get mine reconditioned then i'll have to get a mechanic to do it for me... (bye bye 7-800 bucks *sniff*).

    car is a 1992 405 mi16 1.9 litre.

whatever you do NEVER tell anyone your car is reliable. doesn't matter how much wood you touch!

thanks SG - alan has already sent me that link - i've printed out the step by step instructions!

I have just moved to a unit and have lost my workshop so I wont really have the time to go through re-conditioning it myself. I'd like to have a spare on-hand so that I can pull the old one out and put the new one in and (try) do the job in a day.
