Default 205 rear beam bronze bushes performance?

Has anyone actually used bronze bushes in the rear beam of a 205/306 to replace the stuffed needle bearings?

    Were they a success?

I read loads about dimensions, clearances and materials but no performance reports!

    Where did they come from?

    Approx $?

Just buy the correct parts and do it properly.

Yes and they didn't work, seized up.
They may be successful if you had the machining equipment to get the clearances right, they don't go straight in as supplied.
Far easier just to fix it properly.

    Adrian,

Yer that sounds probably the best. (Do you recon God would agree?)

If I can get another 200k km out of the new ones that should do.
