Default Quick question - 205 fan switch pinouts

got the flat 3 pin one, same style as the tps connector. my sensor isnt labelled, I dont have a wiring diagram, and i need to wire up something to take my car to an exhaust shop on friday, can I use the two outer pins for a basic fan operation until I can test it properly? have the tools, not at home and limited time to test at home, rushing getting the rest of the car ready.

Just try it, that's how I figured it out. Apply +12 V to one pin and try one of the other wires to a light, fan, etc, with the negative 12V running directly to the load. Dunk in hot water and see what happens (water needs to be quite hot). Try all permutations until you find what's what.

Alternatively, just for a trip, you can short out all the wires in the plug (not the sender) and that will have both fans running on high speed all the time.

Or have a look at the wiring diagram. The wire running from ignition plus is numbered, you need to find that number on the plug that connects to the sender.

From fuzzy memory it may be a 56?

    ACHTUNG ALLES LOOKENPEEPERS
