Hmm, that wire terminated at a seven pin relay. I removed the lot when I was installing my new loom and now I cant figure out what wire it connected to. Any hints upstream?

The same wire (electrically) joins the following four items:

    - ignition coil (-ve)
    - tachymetric relay
    - tacho
    - ecu

Thanks, worked it out from there. For the record, the signal wire is light blue. Tachometer works great with the resistor swap and aux out from my vipec. She's going on the roller dyno tomorrow for a full map, should be interesting.

Anyone have any idea what a 205 SI tacho is looking for in the way of input?
I would like to get it working in the rally car which at present is running stone age dissy and coil.

Given the Si is wasted spark, the tacho must be getting a feed direct from the ECU. In which case it's more than likely 12V square wave.
