    Default Variable idle - mi16 205 (xu9)

Lately the idle has been sitting at about 2,000 rpm whilst stationary at the lights.
I haven't noticed it happen more or less with such variables as petrol octane or engine temperatures.
    What could be causing this?
A brief touch of the throttle will usually make the revs drop back down.

    Thank you in advance,

Broken, or incorrectly adjusted TPS. You should here the contacts click when it returns to idle. Double check for continuity with a multimeter.

The other could be a bad connection on th ICV, as the default position (no voltage supply) is approx 2000rpm. But as you say a blip fixes it, I suspect the TPS.
