Very nice, some of the Peugeot people might even like this one!

I really like the looks of this one. I think someone was saying on Ozrenaultsport though that the 2nd pic was photoshopped. I think the rear wheel is smaller than the front.

Can't wait for a drive though.

One of the reasons I got the 180 over the 172/182 was cause of the appearence, sorry the 172/182 shape didnt appeal to me at all.

Anyway, those pics are nice improvement over its predecessor. Looks alot like the 207.

Are these photos actually legit or just prototypes?

It does look a little "edited" - as Dave said, the wheels in the second pic look a little out of proportion relative to one another.

    Still, very nice... Very 207...

I kinda like the 182 though, they steered clear of the mini-MPV look, but now its all very tall and van-like.

True the RS Clios are a tall car, but for me the looks of a car are never a
major factor when it comes to buying a car. I always look under the skin
to see what it does and how it does it and that why I bought one.
I agree the Pug 180 is a gorgeous looking car while the Clio is a little blunter
and more bull doggish, but after owning my 182 thats part of its appeal
    to me now.
I took my neices in the 182 to pick up some takeaway last week. Previously
they had made some rather derogatory comments about the Clio, being to
small and a woosy little car.
150 meters down the road they are squealing and screaming and by the time
we got back they were convinced they had been kidnapped by a maniac in
a race car. Funny thing was I hardly accelerated at all and just rolled around
the corners without braking so I'd hate to see how they would react if I had
    punched it at all

    cheers,

Nice looking mock-up, one of the reasons the 172 wasn't considered at the time (apart from appalling Ren customer service), was the "dropped at birth" looks. Performance was never an issue, it beat the GTi138 no worries, but never warmed to the interior or exterior (more importantly neither did the misses), and the GTi180 was still 2 years away.

This new incarnation (if it's real) will swing a few people back to Ren on the looks stakes I would think, and I'm sure they won't blunt the performance and handling, here's hoping they can back it up with some customer service.

I think the clio range is due to for release a few months before the 207...

I like it, but it has lost that 'tough' look that I really liked in the outgoing model.

Maybe in the flesh it will look more bullish...

Dont be too worried about customer service... its being worked on heavily & most reports are very favourable!
There's also some dealings between clubs & dealers, so we're (club people) are also in there for assistance!

Good to hear ... in the Pug circles the dealer enthusiasm towards clubs ranges from - "we'll be as helpful as we can, clubs are good news for us" all the way to "Pug clubs are a total waste of time as they are full of 404/504/505/205 and we never get any business from them".

That looks very nice, it sits really low very little gap between the top of the tyre an the wheel arch. Wonder how the pricing will be, according to autoexpress.co.uk it will be a bit more than the current model roughly equating to high 30,s in aus.Have to wait and see

Apparently they are leaked images. Wouldn't be surprised. They are very typical of computer generated images from Renault's systems. For each and every model there are images similar to this.

That thing is an absolute peach. Right up there with the DB9 and E-Type Jag in the “That thing looks $hit hot” rankings. Nearly the best looking car I’ve seen.

It actually strikes me as a bit of an Astra look alike from the side profile, but the nose and rear are totally French. The only other thing is it seems a touch long.

But still - what a cracker!

Haha yeah now you get a courtesy call to say the customer service manager is busy and will call you later on. The bloke then reads my number out to double check and gets it wrong (considering he just called me on the number) and the manager never rings back anyhow... Flash new systems, same old results...

As a long term Renault owner and now three of four cars in drive are Peugeots one a Renault I do hope that they get the service right to go with this car it deserves it.
