    405 1998cc alternator removal

I have nearly removed the alternator from my 405 STI for some TLC from an auto leckky. (It's only wacking out 13V max).
Having a few problems though just as the daylight was disappearing today. The last bolt the alternator swivels on seems to be a pain in the rectum to get out.
Looks like I need to remove the belt auto tensioner assembly to allow the 22mm bolt to unscrew fully.
Is this the case? Hope not
The allen key studs are very tight so I'm not looking forward to bad news

Yep the belt tensioner had to come out..& the bracket for the power steering/ alternator to get the alternator actually out of the car
The top engine mount didn't need any removal which was a plus.

    Thanks Grant for the fax

Grant sent a fax to me within minutes of me emailing him.
It's great to have someone of your caliber among us here

Haynes manual wasn't helpful for XU10J2
