    pug 405 perfrmance mods, any suggestions?

    I have a 94 405sr any one suggest ideas on building a decent bottom end.
    Im running 45DCOE webers a lumpy cam and the ports have been tickled a bit to give slightly better flow.
    Standard valves.

    For the 405 I'd say the best bet in australia would be to talk to northshore rallysports in sydney website; http://www.esscargo.com.au

    Personally, I wouldn't spend money on a std. 405. Mi16's have all the good gear downstairs (and up) and are relatively cheap, compared to the cost of modifying the std. motor. NZ is also blessed with the non-cat. XU9Z4 models, giving an even better base to build on.
