XUD9 ENGINE TO BELL HOUSING FLANGE BOLT PATTERN

Hi, can any one tell me if the mating flange between an XUD9 engine and the bell housing is built to a standard pattern (and what that pattern is)? I need to make up a bell housing to mount a marine gearbox and am hoping i can find a drawing of the flange/bolt pattern to make my life a bit easier. Many thanks Halsey

I dont think there is , or ever has been , a standard pattern for bell housing.
Might be easier to ask if anyone has a unwanted bell housing second hand and perform cut and weld surgery on it .

mine is apart, what exactly do you need? Standard xu pattern it has be3 on it. Diesel ratios.

XUD9 is the standard XU 4 cyl pattern. They're all the same.

Why not just use the bell housing/front section of a BE1 or BE3 gearbox?
