Xu9 Build using Xu5 block

I had previously mentioned o this forum of an oil leak at rear of engine. After running the carat sprints I suffered overheating problem due to heater hose splitting. I now have no oil pressure so I thought time to build new engine using parts I have here.
I have a short xu5 block,dkz crankshaft and pistons and Conrad’s

My thoughts are
Use xu5 block and liners, place xu5 pistons on dkz conrods
Use Dkz crankshaft
Cam belt would need to be eccentric adjustment type
Use existing oil pump on Xu5 block

I intend to use Dfz head with camshaft I was using on old motor


Have I missed anything?
 
Chambers in DFZ head are too big, unless you skim 2mm off the head.
 
If it’s just a fun engine, use a 0.7mm Cu gasket.
 
Sorry I should have said that I am using a dkz head not dfz head. I have a cometic .027 gasket
 
Do it right, it will be nice.
