Xantia - Moose Test

Its pretty darn good for a car without stability control systems. This video also amply demonstrates why you dont skimp on tyres....

Nice, thanks!

I wonder how my 55 year old Djet would (comparatively) go. I have simulated Elk tests with each toy & each change of tyres & the Djet remains the most controllable & "tossable" car I have ever driven.

Thanks for posting - very interesting!

Like the xantia, I suspect it will be good up until the limit is found and then you’re on your own!

ESC really is a wonderful technology development - as the video says, you can’t brake wheels individually no matter how good a driver you are ;)

I remember Jim Reddiex describing preparation of a CX for rallying.
He installed a pair of handbrake levers, one for each side, so he could pull one or other on during cornering.
And Jim was good enough to make it work.

bugger all those old rolling dinosaur citroens, those xantias are the gear.
they could counter lean them into a corner except it would freak the customers.
thats the top of the parubula, all down hill from there.
