where can i get am6 gearbox from for a 2007 407 wagon?

mine is slipping like crazy.
2L diesel rhr engine with am6 gearbox

In theory yes it will. Both diesel so same gear ratio and both matched to RHR 2.0 engine.

Tyre diameters? If the gear ratios match, do the diff ratios? I think 307s have 16in wheels.

Is there any reason not to replace just the valve block? There is no need to remove the gearbox to do this. That often fixes flare/slip problems, but will obviously depend on the nature of the fault you are trying to address. Commonly, it 2>3 slip when hot.

No joy on that AM6 gearbox, he had already sold it. Have to decided to wreck the car unless someone wants to buy it to repair.
