Alan S,
Yes, this is on the website list, thanks anyway. :)
It has acted as a reminder for me to ask any of the moderators? If they could transfer the Simca logo on the site to be my avatar? The one I have in mind is the top example of the three.
My gratitude for life if you can do this.

P.S. I have to ask. The term "avatar". Where, why what?

Chris,
Merci beaucoup. I can offer beads, bits of coloured glass or conch shell in return for your help. :wink2:

This logo was one of Simca's originals before they became polluted by chrysler.
The very original from the 50's was red and green with the swallow, large Simca lettering with, if I recall, Nanterre and the initials GFA as well.

GFA were the initials for "Generale Francais Automobile". This was a post WW2 consortium of Delahaye and Delage cars and Bernard, Laffly and Unic trucks. [Camions].
