What a fantastic event Renaults every where i'd estimate around 100 entries which included the new range courtesy of our local dealer
I got the best R10 trophy Dave C got best 12G there was a trophy for ever model available & i think all models fro 750 up were represented with one guest from QLD and i believe one from SA

Just saw Some of the pics taken by one of our QLD members, and was I annoyed that I didn’t go.
Some of the cars that went. geesh
You guys got a bloody good turn out. Saw some detailed pic's of your R10 Damo and it looks pretty mean not your average R10 that’s for sure. Saw some nice pic's of Daves R12G also, which looked pretty smick.

That R15 (COVERT) is speaking my language.

Good stuff fellas, hopefully I can make it down there one day.
 
Hi Ash, yes we're all very proud of COVERT, did you see the Alpines, now they get your blood pumping, especially the blue GTA.
Yes we're proud of our turn out but out all french day is usually bigger, come down for that, its on Bastille day (14th July).

Hopefully then my only excuse will be which car to take, the R17 or the R8G look-alike. Take em both down get the old man to drive one.

Has Covert got a Fuego engine in that thing?

From the fotoes I saw the other night there was a Green 1134 R8 may not have been a proper G but still it got me exited, looked really nice.

Ash, That green 1134 is actually only a standard 1132 R8 with an 1134 front, its a fantastic restoration, one of the best I've seen.
COVERT has a stink hot 1600 motor, couldn't tell you what but its got serious horse power, 5 speed box and the list of body and interior mods would fill this page, it won the best 15/17, but you probably guess that already.

There were some awesome machines at the round up the Alpine's, Gordini's and the much modified cars attracted people like bee's to the honey pot there were many pic's taken of my R10 each time someone asked me to start it i had a crowd form around the car.
