Those that can, Can Can....

I just luv it(the C35), eek! but I'm not allowed to have it :(

Thanks Craig, I only check out the QCCC site once every blue moon, they have done a good job this year, even gibibs Berlingo features wink

Did get some interest from the better half on Bobs XM Turbo Diesel, I did a hard sell on fuel economy, but she screamed when I told her it was green, just about every car she has owned has been green Nooooooooo.......

Cheers
Chris

gibgib,

Is that your Berlingo to the right of the big van on the qld page? Geez your number plates are a bit 'plain' after the ol' ones!

To cut out the background, you need to open the scan in some image editing software, crank up the zoom (i usually use 400%) and use a fairly fine paint brush (with colour set to white) to carefully go around the edge first, then you widen out the brush and colour the rest of the background white.

Then you set the transparency colour to white and save it!

Derek :)

And then after you've done all that you go out and get yourself a life! Seriously though, I find graphics progs really frustrating. Not one of my fortès. (No that is not a F$#@ word)

Good luck to those that can drive graphics progs.

Photoshop is probably the most widely used program which makes easy work of tasks like that. There is a tool which you use to go around the outside of the element you want to cut out, or leave behind with a line. Once you join back up to where you started, you can select all of the picture on the outside of the line and delete it. When you save the file it will, by default, put a white background in, however you can change this to be the same background colour as the web page you are showing it on.
